B fines: sting for Genoa
The sports judge issued disciplinary measures following the 23rd day of Serie B. In particular, with regard to fines, it imposed a heavy penalty on Genoa. The Grifone in fact received a fine of €10,000 and was the only club fined.
Fine of €10,000.00: to Soc. GENOA for having its supporters, at the 33rd minute of the first half, throw two smoke bombs on the field of play that forced the referee to interrupt the match for about two minutes; for having also, during the second half, thrown two lighters and two glasses full of liquid at the goalkeeper of the opposing team, without damaging consequences; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 letter b) CGS.
