Bad news for Torino and Ivan Juric: the Granata club will have to do without David Zima, who underwent surgery on his right knee, for an extended period of time.

“David Zima underwent right lateral meniscal suture surgery this morning. The operation, which was perfectly successful, was performed by Professor Kalina in Olomouc, Czech Republic, in the presence of the Torino FC medical staff. The player will immediately begin rehabilitation and the prognosis will be defined according to the clinical evolution,” reads the official note released by the Turin club.

No recovery time has been announced yet but the feeling is that the Czech defender will have to stay away from the fields for a long period of time, probably no less than three months.
