Inter remembers Elena Fanchini. “It is a very sad day, Elena Fanchini has left us. Dear Elena, we remember you with a smile, at the stadium with us or while skiing on your beloved mountains. We hold your family and all your loved ones in a big hug,” the message sent by the Nerazzurri club.
The former skier passed away Wednesday after battling a bad illness with great courage. She was only 37 years old. In her palmares a world silver medal, won in 2005 in downhill in Bormio, as well as two World Cup victories always in the same specialty (Lake Louise 2005 and Cortina d’Ampezzo 2015).
