Juventus, concern for Fabio Miretti
Miretti injured against Salernitana
Despite the 0-3 win on the pitch against Salernitana, with which Juventus reacted to the home loss to Monza, there is also bad news for Massimiliano Allegri. During the first half against Davide Nicola’s men, Fabio Miretti was forced to leave the field due to a sprained ankle.
The Juventus coach spoke about this in the post-match press conference, “Miretti does not support the ankle, let’s see in the next few days. He took a good hit.”
Updates are awaited on the condition of the midfielder, who hopes to be back at Allegri’s disposal as early as Sunday’s match against Fiorentina. Also on the horizon is the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, scheduled for Feb. 16 against Nantes.
