Lewis Hamilton, the new challenge begins: the Brit speaks out

He is coming off a disappointing season, his first without a win or pole position since he has been in Formula 1, but Lewis Hamilton is already ready to redeem himself and, via social media, has issued his very personal challenge with one month to go before the start of the 2023 World Championship.

To do so, he posted a message on Instagram in which he described an important memory from his past: “I remember how excited I was when I saw my first go kart, covered, in my living room. I peeked at it before they discovered it in front of me and had to pretend to be surprised when my parents removed the cover. I acted like it wasn’t there! From the first time I drove it, I felt at one with the vehicle. I knew I was meant to race. I knew I was strong. Stronger and hungrier than the other kids.”

“I had that hunger from day one and I still have it here today. I was hungry then, I’m even hungrier now,” Hamilton concluded.
