Official arrival of Marcus Lee
Pallacanestro Reggiana has announced that it has signed an agreement through the end of the 2022/2023 season with American athlete Marcus Lee.
A 208-centimeter pivot, class of 1994, Lee divided his collegiate career between Kentucky and California Berkeley. After two years in the G-League, he made his debut in the old continent by signing with Vanoli Cremona in Serie A: for him 7.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.6 stoppages average in 21′ of usage. After the Italian experience, he moved to the Turkish premier league to Yalovaspor, where he played the entire 2021/2022 season with 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds average in 30 games. In the current season, after a 10-game stint in Spain in Manresa between ACB and BCL, he continues his year in Australia in Melbourne finishing a few days ago the championship with 8.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.6 stoppages per game, with 69% from the field.
“I am galvanized by the idea of returning to Italy and bringing all my positive energy to the team. At 28 years old, I have now gained experience and leadership during my career and that’s what I will try to bring to my new teammates to be a reference on the court and in the locker room,” Marcus Lee confessed to the official channels of the red and white club.
