Lecce, Corvino blunt about future of Strefezza and Hjulmand
Pantaleo Corvino exposes himself on Strefezza and Hjulmand
Pantaleo Corvino, during an interview given to ‘Centro Suono Sport,’ spoke among other things about the season of Gabriel Strefezza and Morten Hjulmand, among the main protagonists of Lecce’s year and possible valuable pieces of the next summer market.
“If an outfielder from a big club had scored 21 goals in a season and a half, with 18 assists, they would be talking about it not saying every day but every other day for sure,” said Corvino speaking about Strefezza. “This in a small club can go unnoticed. We are enjoying it and we are absolutely happy about it, not many have his haul.”
“Hjulmand like Strefezza is one of the few who comes from Serie B, today despite being young he is captain of this team and as a midfielder he is showing that the move in the future to a big club deserves it all,” added the head of the technical area of the Salento club.
“A youngster I would bet on with my eyes closed? There are many, I evaluate purely those who are in my house. At Lecce there are many good players who can make people talk about themselves tomorrow, but I stop at Strefezza,” Corvino finally said.
