Young French talent Arthur Fils, the real surprise of the Montpellier ATP 250, warned Jannik Sinner, his next opponent in the semifinals. “I don’t think I have any limits. I just have to work during and the results will come. I have all the qualities to get to the top fairly quickly. I don’t get carried away by emotions and my family helps me keep my head straight. I hope to reach the top 100 as soon as possible. I am very happy with my latest performance,” he said at the end of his victory over Halys, as reported by Tennis Majors.

“I can handle the important moments of matches well. Before try to make impossible plays, now things work better. I had a great start to the season playing well in Portugal and France. I am playing my best tennis. I have the physical characteristics to defend well. I have been working a lot on this aspect for the last four years,” concluded Fils.

Sinner, for his part, had recognized the qualities of the transalpine tennis player, “I saw him play in this tournament. He is already very strong physically and reads the game well. He started the season really well, so it will be a very interesting match.”
