Dumfries goodbye, Marotta has already chosen heir

New reinforcement for the Nerazzurri lane could arrive from Bayern Munich

Having ended up progressively behind in the choices of Simone Inzaghi, who often relegated him to the bench in Inter’s recent outings, Denzel Dumfries seems to have already ended his controversial experience in the ranks of the meneghini. Protagonist of an excellent start to the season in his first year, the former PSV Dutchman has since gone astray, even often losing his starting spot to Matteo Darmian.

Considering that the English sirens on the player (Chelsea and Manchester United have already appeared) have never ceased to resonate, Beppe Marotta is counting on being able to sell the outfielder for a sum close to 50 million euros: such is the valuation given to the player.

The skillful Nerazzurri executive has reportedly already moved his pawns to arrive at the replacement: it is Noussair Mazraoui, the Moroccan who moved last summer on a zero-parameter basis from Ajax to Bayern Munich. After a good start to the season, the North African has often ended up on the bench, only to return as a starter in recent pre-World Cup matches. Inflammation of the pericardium later complained of in early January has kept him out in recent weeks, inevitably causing him to lose positions in coach Nagelsmann’s hierarchies. Who, by the way, has meanwhile brought in a certain Joao Cancelo from Manchester in his role.

Inter would have sniffed out the deal, also being able to count on the good offices held with Rafaela Pimenta, the agent who inherited from the late Mino Raiola all the players previously ‘belonging’ to the latter.
