It ends 1-0 at the Stadium

An entertaining match at the Stadium between Juventus and Fiorentina: in the end, the Bianconeri won by a narrow margin, but there was no shortage of excitement on both sides with the Viola having a goal cancelled by Var in the 90th minute.

The Bianconeri got off to a strong start immediately in the first half and went close to the lead with Kostic twice in the space of ten minutes: in the 12th minute he kicked wide from a few steps, in the 23rd minute he kicked wide on a nice cross from Chiesa but Terracciano was ready. The lead, however, is ripe and comes in the 34th minute with Rabiot’s framing on Di Maria’s kissing assist: Terracciano gets there but it is too late, the ball has already crossed the goal line.

In the second half, Juve found the double with Vlahovic, who, launched on a nice feed from Kostic, went over Terracciano with a soft touch underneath. However, the Var cancels everything for offside by the Serbian. In the final, however, it is the Viola that recriminates: Castrovilli finds a great shot from the edge that goes in behind Szczesny but after another Var check the referee cancels the goal for active offside by Ranieri at the start of the action.

The Bianconeri thus get the three points and climb to 29, as Monza and Bologna, the Viola remain firm at 24.
