In the aftermath of Attilio Caja’s decision to leave the Givova Scafati bench after about 4 months since his arrival, the Campani are already working to find his replacement. As ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ reports, an agreement with Pino Sacripanti, former coach of Avellino and Gevi Napoli among others, a club with which he achieved promotion to Serie A in the 2020/2021 season, seems now imminent.

“Coach Attilio Caja has informed the club of his decision to resign from the role of head coach, for personal reasons. The club, albeit with regret and sorrow, accepts the resignation, thanks the coach for the work he has done and wishes him the best satisfactions for the continuation of his career,” this is the note circulated through the channels of the Campania club after Caja’s decision.

Givova Scafati’s next game is set for March 5, 2023, away against Olimpia Milano, the leading team.
