MotoGp, Joan Mir undermines Marc Marquez: “I’m there”

The 2020 world champion stresses, “Times close to Marc Marquez’s.”

Honda centaur Joan Mir recounted his feelings after MotoGp testing in Sepang, the first of the season. HRC is predictably lagging behind its rivals: “We are still far from the leaders, Aprilia and especially Ducati. But it’s something the engineers have to think about and where Honda as a company has to step up.”

On a personal level, however, things are not so bad, and even teammate Marc Marquez is not so far behind: “More or less Marc and I are doing the same times. It’s nice to be able to look at his data, because you understand what you can do and what he can do,” are the words reported by Corsedimoto. “Also, I’m happy with the way things are run in the pits. In Honda you have many more people listening to you than in Suzuki, there are many more people behind the scenes working on the bike.”
