Borussia Dortmund-Chelsea, the likely lineups

Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea arrive at the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 in two completely different situations. The hosts want to continue to remain undefeated in this 2023, while the English are called upon to put all their eggs in the European basket complicit with the poor performance in the league and the probable exclusion from the fight for the cups for next season.

Among the Germans, Youssoufa Moukoko will be missing. Space therefore for Haller from 1′ supported by Reus, Adeyemi and Brandt. In the back row ballot between Wolf and Ryerson for the right-back role, with the latter slightly favored. In midfield, Bellingham is sure of his place, while Emre Can and Ozcan are vying for the second shirt, with the latter slightly ahead.

The English come to the match with many unavailable, Kanté and Sterling above all. As for the offensive department, Potter will rely on Kai Havertz supported by the three fantasists Joao Felix, Mount and Mudryk. In midfield, there is space for Kovacic, who should flank Enzo Fernandez. In defense, on the other hand, it is a tight ballot between Azpilucueta and James for the right flank, with the Englishman ahead, and between Koulibaly and Chalobah to flank Thiago Silva.
