Igor Gorgonzola Novara for redemption against Paola Egonu

Having archived the defeat in Bergamo, Stefano Lavarini’s Igor Gorgonzola Novara prepares for the last challenge of Pool C of the Champions League, scheduled for Wednesday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Pala Igor (live Discovery+) against Vakifbank Istanbul, the team of former great Paola Egonu. The match, originally scheduled last Feb. 8 in Istanbul, was postponed due to the Turkish government’s decision to suspend all domestic and international competitions on Turkish soil following the tragic earthquake on Feb. 6.

Enrico Marchioni, general manager of Igor Gorgonzola Novara, spoke clearly on the eve of the match: “For us it is an important week and we arrive at the direct clashes with Vakifbank and Chieri after a heavy defeat and especially after a bad team performance.
