Jerusalem awaits marathon runners

The countdown to the Jerusalem Marathon has begun: it will be held on March 17. “It is a spectacular event that will see thousands and thousands of athletes, fans and ordinary tourists flock to the city,” explains Kalanit Goren, delegate of the Israeli National Tourist Office in Milan.

“Even in 2023 there will be so many initiatives related to sports, starting with marathons, including the Dead Sea marathon, in which people will run in a very special and fun situation. Cycling then is very popular in Israel, the departure of the Giro d’Italia in 2018 has expanded the passion for two wheels even more: there is no shortage of Gran Fondos in which one can engage. And then swimming: we have as many as four seas. In short, there is everything to admire the beauty of our country while doing sports.”
