Jannik Sinner issues challenge to Stefanos Tsitsipas
Sinner is ready to take revenge on Tsitsipas
After his three-set victory over Benjamin Bonzi, Jannik Sinner is ready to take revenge on Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 in Rotterdam. In fact, the South Tyrolean tennis player came up short in the last precedent between the two, staged in the round of 16 at the Australian Open, when the Greek prevailed in five sets.
The Italian, at the end of his match, issued a challenge to his Greek rival: “I know I will have to face a very strong tennis player, but I am ready. We’ll see how it goes.”
“It was not an easy match and I think the beginning of the third set was important. At that moment I regained a lot of confidence in my game, which I had lost a little bit in the second set,” he commented on his debut match in the Dutch tournament.
“I like these playing conditions and I adapted quickly,” concluded the Italian tennis number one.
