MotoGp, Marc Marquez admits error: ‘I lost two years’
Honda driver celebrates 30 years today
Special day for Marc Marquez, who is blowing out 30 candles today. The eight-time World Champion can’t wait to get back on track. After many problematic months with several injuries, he finally seems healthy this year. The desire to return to fight for the title is great.
The Spaniard has no doubts about who is the number one opponent in the upcoming MotoGp season: “Especially Ducati. But Bagnaia started very well in Malaysia, while a year ago he was struggling. For me the one to beat is the one who won the year before, and that is Pecco,” his words to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Now physically recovered, the eight-time World Champion has one regret. Returning to Jerez immediately after the operation was a mistake: “The one big mistake. The doctors had told me I could try, but the final decision was mine. To do one or two more races, I lost two years.” Fortunately, the problems are now behind him.
