Mark Cavendish, Astana’s leading man, could participate in both the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France.

General Manager Alexandre Vinokourov told Cyclingnews, while preceding a detail about the pink race, “If he goes, I don’t think he will do it to finish it, but to prepare. Winning stages is always a good motivation to get to the Tour. We will evaluate later but Mark is considering it. The more races we do the better.”
