Good news for Sinner and Musetti, Fognini and Sonego collapse
Six Azzurri players in the top ninety of the world rankings
Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti advance in the Atp rankings released after last week’s tournaments. In particular, the South Tyrolean tennis player climbed up to twelfth place after his final in Rotterdam, which came a week after his triumph in Montpellier: the Top Ten is in the Azzurro’s sights. Despite the disappointment in South America, Lorenzo Musetti also rises, equaling his best ranking at 18th.
Ahead of everyone is Novak Djokovic, who reaches 377 weeks as No. 1 and joins Steffi Graf at the top of the rankings. Matteo Berrettini slips to 24th, six Italians in all in the top 90: Fabio Fognini plummets twenty places to 86th, Lorenzo Sonego, 81st, also drops, while Marco Cecchinato is 90th.
