Tommaso Menoncello fearless against Ireland
The words of Tommaso Menoncello
Tommaso Menoncello, center/wing of Italrugby, spoke ahead of the third match of the Six Nations against Ireland: “We have had a few days off, now we have resumed work analyzing first of all the challenge with England, focusing on the details and the things we did wrong. We are also studying Ireland’s characteristics, and from that we are building our game plan for Saturday.”
“We always take the field to win, and it is the result that would make us fully satisfied. If it doesn’t go that way, we will then analyze the game trying to enhance the things we did well and improve the things we did wrong. Our goal is to improve in every game the performance made in the previous game, in all aspects: offense, defense, solidity, discipline, concreteness. In particular, as mentioned earlier, at this level we need to concede fewer fouls.”
