Inter-Porto: the probable formations

After Milan and Napoli, it is Simone Inzaghi’s Inter’s turn to play the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. The Nerazzurri face Porto at the San Siro, with kickoff at 9 p.m. The meneghino club has made it through an iron round and wants to continue to impress in Europe, but they must deal with the fearsome Portuguese, who are coming off 10 straight wins.

Inzaghi must clear one formation doubt per department: in defense Acerbi is favored over De Vrij, in midfield Mkhitaryan starts ahead of Brozovic with Calhanoglu in the box, and in attack Dzeko is in pole over Lukaku.

Conceiçao is expected to prefer Zaidu over Wendell on the left lane, while Joao Mario will be on the right. Leading the defense will be the experienced Pepe while in attack Pepê will partner Taremi.
