With Saturday’s match at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome (3:15 p.m., live coverage on Sky Sport 1 and TV8) against Ireland now just around the corner, rugby Italy made its arrival in the capital on Wednesday evening, 22.

Coming from Verona, where in recent days they have been preparing for their challenge to the world ranking leaders, Lamaro and his teammates landed at Roma Termini after traveling aboard Trenitalia’s FrecciaArgento 8519 and found a representation of young rugby players from Lazio clubs to welcome them at the FrecciaClub in Roma Termini.

Along with the movement’s welcome, also welcoming CT Crowley, Head of Delegation Morelli and the blue group was Trenitalia’s High-Speed Business Director Pietro Diamantini, who received from the blue delegation one of the Frecciarossa branded game jerseys, Trenitalia’s brand that from January 2023 will find space on the back of the FIR Seniores National Teams’ jerseys.

For the Azzurri, many autographs and unfailing selfies with the young rugby players, before moving to the NH Hotel in Via Veneto, the Azzurri’s headquarters in Rome, ahead of tomorrow’s final training sessions at Acqua Acetosa and Friday’s Captain’s Run at the Olimpico, the final leg of the preparation for the third day of the Guinness Six Nations 2023.
