Stanislav Lobotka is one of Napoli’s biggest surprises this season beyond the likes of Kvaratskhelia, Kim and Osimhen. The Slovak midfielder is delivering top-level performances so much so that he has become almost irreplaceable for Luciano Spalletti. Of particular note was the key pass to Lozano that propitiated Osimhen’s goal in the Champions League round of 16 first leg match against Eintracht.

Among the special observers of the 1994-born midfielder remains Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid, which even before the winter soccer session had already asked the Neapolitan club for information about a possible long-term negotiation.

The player, who has just renewed his contract, is valued by Aurelio De Laurentis’ club at least 60 million. Should such an offer come in, the decision of whether or not to switch jerseys would be left in the midfielder’s hands.
