Jamarr Sanders stays in Verona for now

Negotiations that, at least in the intentions, were supposed to bring Jamarr Sanders back to Trieste four years after the 1988-class athlete’s season in the biancorosso, have suddenly stalled.

According to reports from ‘Il Piccolo,’ in fact, Scaligera Basket Verona, which currently has the American basketball player under contract, would not have any intention of releasing Sanders unless it immediately had an alternative available for coach Alessandro Ramagli: the yellow-blue club had set its sights on Dameyan Dotson, guard of Gaziantep, but the Turkish club would have categorically refused the economic offer of the Venetians, thus placing a major obstacle to the transfer of Sanders.

The UAB product, for now, therefore remains in Verona. Trieste, however, is not giving up and remains in the front row, confident that the situation can be unblocked as soon as possible.
