Pinturicchio has been searched several times by Ferguson
During the Champions League post-match broadcast on Sky Sports, Del Piero confirmed a soccer market rumour that he was involved in when he played with the Juventus jersey.
Pinturicchio confirmed that he was sought out by Ferguson, then Manchester United coach: “Yes, it’s true. He looked for me before 2000 and even after…,” the words of the former Juventus flagman who, however, always turned down the United boss’ proposals, preferring to stay and make history with the Juventus jersey. A club where, sooner or later, he could return in the role of manager as so many Juventus fans dream of.
