Europa League draws: could have gone better for Roma and Juventus

The Nyon urn has determined the pairings for the Europa League round of 16. Juventus will face Vincenzo Grifo’s Freiburg. The Germans are currently fourth in the Bundesliga behind only Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin. Not the best draw for Roma either, who will face the Spanish side Real Sociedad, currently third in La Liga.

The first leg of the round of 16 will be played at home by both the Bianconeri and the Giallorossi on March 9, while the return will be on March 16 in Germany and Spain, respectively.
