F1, Ferrari: Frederic Vasseur’s judgment is lapidary
Frederic Vasseur of few words on the sidelines of the testing days in Bahrain
With the three-day test in Bahrain coming to a close, Ferrari will reason on the data collected with the aim of coming back to the Sakhir circuit next weekend in the best possible condition to fight for success.
This was confirmed by Frederic Vasseur, team principal of the Rossa, to the official channels of the Circus, on the sidelines of the same tests. “It was three days of intense work for the whole team,” he said. “We analyzed numerous aspects of the car and carried out the tasks we had set ourselves on the program, without worrying about lap times or what the others did: we only thought about ourselves.
“The main objective was to get as many kilometers as possible and we did that, although it is clear that it would have been nice to have had more time to do more: but that’s true for everyone,” added Vasseur, still lapidary in his assessment. “As for the performance, we are still trying to get to know the car fully, it is too early to express ourselves. The mood within the team is great, though, which is ideal for a good start to this long season.”
