A delegation from Liberia’s president visited the Atsu family, donating $10,000
The death of Hatayspor striker Christian Atsu from the earthquake in Turkey has also caused much emotion in Africa, where the Ghanaian forward was respected and very popular.
The president of Liberia, George Weah, sent a delegation to the family of the former Porto, Chelsea and Newcastle man to offer condolences to the Liberian people and to donate a sum of $10,000.
This is the AC Milan legend’s message, “I am deeply sorry for the death of my neighbor, my brother and young friend.” Atsu’s family has also been visited in recent days by Abedi Ayew Pele, Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari.
