Ternana, Aurelio Andreazzoli has resigned
After home defeat comes resignation.
Aurelio Andreazzoli is no longer the coach of Ternana. The coach of the Rossoverde club announced his decision to resign from his post at the end of the Liberati match that ended 1-2 and was won by Cittadella.
“Ternana Calcio,” reads the official website of the Umbrian club, “announces that, at the end of this afternoon’s match at the Libero Liberati with Cittadella (which ended 2-1 for the Veneti), the Rossoverde coach, Aurelio Andreazzoli, has resigned.
“President Stefano Bandecchi, and every corporate component, thank the coach from Massa for the commitment, fairness and great professionalism lavished during his experience at the helm of Ternana Calcio,” the statement continued.
Ternana is coming off just two points in its last four Serie B matches and two defeats in a row. It is currently in 11th place in the standings, -3 from the playoff zone. Andreazzoli had sat on the Rossoverde bench after the 14th day, taking over from Cristiano Lucarelli.
