Orsolini punishes Inter, Bologna still fatal for Nerazzurri
Bologna – Inter 1-0 in Sunday’s lunch match in Serie A
More Bologna, more defeat. After the unbelievable fall last April 27, when the Nerazzurri practically handed the Scudetto to AC Milan, Simone Inzaghi’s Inter still falls at the Dall’Ara, thus slipping even to -18 from Napoli.
In the first half, the match is ripped apart by the 5′ of fire between the 15th and 20th minutes, when Thiago Motta’s eleven had a goal annulled, a possible penalty denied for Darmian’s hands, and hit a crossbar with Soriano. Bologna created quite a few headaches for the Meneghina rearguard but the first half ended goalless.
In the second half, Inter took the measures and tried to make the match its own, but it was Bologna, after a sensational chance wasted by Barrow, that struck on the counterattack in the 76th minute with Orsolini, who was good at slipping through Onana with a powerful yet precise shot. The Nerazzurri tried to straighten out the contest, but slammed against the careful defensive phase of the Felsinei. It ends 1-0, Bologna still bitter for the Beneamata.
