The three early matches of the midweek Serie B round ended with an outside win for Pisa, which narrowly defeated Parma (0-1), and an inside win for Cosenza, which came back against Reggina in the final minutes (2-1). Only a draw for Palermo, stopped at home by Ternana (0-0).

Deciding the match at the Tardini was a goal by Tourè in the final minutes, who, unleashed by Torregrossa, pierced Chichizola with a fine right-footer. Pisa rises to 41, +4 on the Ducali.
