Superbike, official return of Imola in July

Fim and Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari announce that the seventh round of the 2023 World Superbike Championship will be held at the Romagna track.

Imola’s return to the Superbike championship is official. Fim, Dorna and the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari have announced the new agreement: the seventh round of World SBK will be held at the Romagna track after a three-year absence.

The Grand Prix will be held over the weekend of July 14-16. “After three seasons we are thrilled to welcome Imola back to the calendar for 2023. This second Round in Italy confirms the popularity of the Championship among Italian fans,” said Gregorio Lavilla, executive director of Superbike.

Satisfied is Autodromo general manager Pietro Benvenuti: “It is with great satisfaction that we announce this agreement…We know that there are many fans who will not want to miss this appointment for anything in the world since Imola has great ties with this championship.”
