Marc Marquez on MotoGp World Championship: “You have to be realistic.”

Marc Marquez in an interview with Motorsport admitted Honda’s difficulties ahead of the start of the World Championship: “They told me the plan was to try many things in Sepang, in Portimao we will evaluate everything. Turn the situation around? I would like to, but it’s very difficult. You have to be realistic. In Portimao and in the first race we will see. Over the course of the year you can change many things.”

Number 93 has no qualms about saying that Honda is in trouble: “The situation is difficult for everyone, but especially for Honda. It is also hard for me because I feel like a Honda rider and I am part of the Honda family. It is difficult from a sporting point of view.”

A situation that prompts him to evaluate his future, although Marquez assures that the contract until 2024 will be respected: “An early farewell would be a mistake and it is not my style to force a situation.”
