Max Verstappen is not satisfied with the feeling with his car

The second fastest time in free practice at the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix does not satisfy Max Verstappen at all: “We had a difficult start to the day, the first free practice was really bad and I couldn’t find balance.”

The world champion laments a step backward compared to last week’s testing: “It was strange because in testing it was never as bad as today. We have to understand some things, because in the long run the car was not bad. I need to find my rhythm with the car again. We are moving in the right direction, we improved throughout the day.”

Verstappen is especially keeping an eye on the Aston Martins: “They seem competitive, you could see that in testing. There is still some work to be done, we know we have a competitive car, it’s just a matter of putting all the pieces together.”
