Federica Brignone comments on seventh place in downhill race

Ranked seventh at the end of the downhill in Kvitfjell won by Kajsa Vickhoff Lie (and which, among other things, gave the Specialty Cup to Sofia Goggia), Federica Brignone commented on her result to the official Fisi channels, confirming that she is betting everything on the Super-G scheduled for Sunday, also on the snows of the Norwegian resort.

“I’m very happy with how I skied in the technical part, which is then the part that interests me most in view of the Super-G,” said the Valle d’Aosta native. “I’m satisfied with how I’m improving my performance in speed. Tomorrow there will be another Super-G and the slope has changed a lot, it bumps a bit more, and I like that.”

“All the female sliders have been struggling more today,” added Brignone, returning to Saturday’s race, “I will try to attack with the utmost serenity and play my cards.
