Sofia Goggia ‘settles’ for the cup

Sofia Goggia spoke to the microphones of Rai Sport after her second place finish to win the downhill World Cup.

“I am not so satisfied with my performance today, because already above I made a mistake, maybe because of the wind, but then I am second, the Cup is here and the goal is achieved. This is my fourth Cup, including three in the last three years, so despite my discontinuity I am happy to have achieved this goal as well. It has been a season in which I have quite dominated in the discipline, despite having missed the World Championships. I am calm and peaceful, I am happy to be in Norway doing a new track. I had fun doing this race.”
