Sofia Goggia after fourth place in Kvitfjell: “False race”
Sofia Goggia, fourth in Kvitfjell at the end of a crazy SuperG affected by bad weather, spoke to RAI microphones: “Totally distorted race, I’m sorry to say. Today, after the 25th the sun also came out and certain gaps were never seen. But skiing is like that, it’s full of variables and we have to adapt….”
The Italian skier consoled herself with her best result of the season in the SuperG: “I managed to have a very solid run in the SuperG and it was quite a long time that I was waiting to put together the various pieces, shown here and there in the previous races. Today I succeeded and I’m happy,” concluded the Bergamasque, who won her fourth career downhill cup on Saturday.
