Karamoh lifts Torino back up: beats Bologna
Torino-Bologna 1-0
The 25th day of Serie A ends with a narrow victory for Torino, which defeated Bologna 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal by Karamoh.
Torino got off to a strong start right away: in the 5th minute Sanabria committed Skorupski at the first post, in the 13th minute Singo put it in tow for Miranchuk, who kicked it wide, but it was Karamoh who intercepted the ball. Ten minutes later comes the deserved lead with the same French striker who collects a Sanabria bank and after getting rid of a couple of opponents, beats Skorupski at the first post.
The second half restarted in the same way with the granata masters of the match but unable to find the double. In the 70th minute the guests’ first ring: verticalization for Orsolini who kicks toward the goal but his shot is saved by a providential slip by Schuurs. A few minutes later Zirkzee turns a cross from the left by Cambiaso just high. From there the Grenadians risk nothing more and win the victory.
Torino thus climbs to ninth place in the standings on 34 points, -1 behind Bologna, which is stuck at 35.
