Chelsea-Borussia Dortmund, the probable formations

Champions League Tuesday opens with the match between Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund. Kickoff at Stamford Bridge at 9 p.m. The English, after regaining victory in the league, seek redemption in Europe as well. The Germans, on the other hand, come to the match in an enviable state of form as evidenced by their 10 consecutive wins. In addition, on the strength of the 1-0 win in the first leg, they will have two out of three results at their disposal.

The hosts will have to do without Mount (disqualified), Thiago Silva and Mendy. In front of Kepa there will be room for the trio of Fofana, Koulibaly and Chalobah. Offensively, Potter will rely on the light trident composed of Havertz, Sterling and Joao Felix.

The guests will also have to deal with several absences including that of Adeyemi, scorer in the first leg. Protecting Meyer will be Wolf, Schlotterbeck, Sule and Guerreiro. In attack trust Brandt, Reus and Haller.

Likely lineups.

CHELSEA (3-4-3): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Chalobah, Koulibaly, Fofana; James, Enzo Fernandez, Kovacic, Chilwell; Joao Felix, Havertz, Sterling. All. Potter

BORUSSIA DORTMUND (4-3-3): Meyer; Wolf, Sule, Schlotterbeck, Guerreiro; Bellingham, Ozcan, Can; Brandt, Haller, Reus. All. Terzic
