Conte responds to Richarlison’s words

Open clash at Tottenham between Antonio Conte and Richarlison. The Brazilian national after the disappointing elimination against AC Milan had spoken of a ‘season of m…a’, attacking the Lecce coach: “I don’t know why I don’t play.”

Conte’s reply was not long in coming and was harsh in the press conference: “Richarlison’s words about me and the team? Of course I have seen and heard them. But he did not criticize me. He simply said that his season is going s— and he’s right. He is not doing well this year.”

“He realized he was wrong,” Conte continued. When you say ‘Me, me, me’ and not ‘We,’ you are only thinking about yourself and you are selfish.
