Lecce, Baroni ‘sees’ the finish line
Lecce, Baroni blunt: “Not much left to reach the goal”
On the eve of the match with Torino, Lecce coach Marco Baroni spoke in the usual pre-match press conference. The coach of the Salentini wanted to analyze the match that awaits his boys and take stock of his team’s goals in this league finale.
“We are having an important championship. With Sassuolo we lost because of an episode. Sometimes we make mistakes from a technical point of view, but it’s part of the journey. We have done important things so far and this is the decisive moment of the season. The goal of salvation is not far away, but it is not yet conquered. To reach it we will need the contribution of everyone from the players to our public,” the Salentines’ coach began.
“Torino is a team that is deserving of the ranking they have. It will be a very difficult match as we will have to be good at managing the various moments of the match in the right way. We should not let the last defeats worry us, but just focus on staying calm. We have shown limitations in some outings, however, we have plenty of time to improve,” Baroni concluded about the Granata.
