Pecco Bagnaia is the best on the first day of testing in Portimao

It is from the Ducati ridden by Pecco Bagnaia the best time on the first day of MotoGp testing in Portimao. The reigning world champion’s best time was 1:38.771, 234 thousandths faster than Luca Marini, who also on a Ducati set the second fastest time. Third position for the first of the Aprilias, that of Maverick Viñales.

Among the top 10 there are no less than six bikes from the Borgo Panigale manufacturer: in addition to Bagnaia and Marini, Alex Marquez (4th), Marco Bezzecchi (7th), Fabio Di Giannantonio (9th) and Jorge Martin (10th) are also in the top 10. As for Aprilia, however, discrete day for Raul fernandez and Miguel Oliveira, respectively 5th and 6th. The only Yamaha in the top ten is that of Fabio Quartararo, 8th.

Suffering the Honda: Alex Rins closes 11th at 875 thousandths from Bagnaia and records a slip in the final, a few minutes after that of teammate Marc Marquez, who closed instead in 19th place. For both, no consequences after the fall.
