Likely lineups

Lecce and Torino open Serie A Sunday in the match scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at the ‘Via del Mare’ stadium.

Reduced by two consecutive defeats, the Salento team is looking for redemption and important points to avoid being sucked into the fight for salvation: coach Marco Baroni will rely on the 4-3-3 with Strefezza and Di Francesco supporting Ceesay in attack, while the keys of the midfield will be entrusted as usual to Hjulmand and in defense Baschirotto will return from disqualification.

As for Torino, the ambition is to get back into the European race, giving continuity to the previous day’s success against Bologna. However, Monday’s match-winner, Karamoh, will be absent due to injury: it will be Radonjic, along with Miranchuk, who will flank Sanabria in the granata’s offensive phase.

The likely lineups:

LECCE (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Baschirotto, Umtiti, Gallo; Gonzalez, Hjulmand, Blin; Strefezza, Ceesay, Di Francesco. All: Baroni;

TORINO (3-4-2-1): Milinkovic-Savic; Gravillon, Schuurs, Buongiorno; Singo, Linetty, Ilic, Rodriguez; Miranchuk, Radonjic; Sanabria. All: Juric.
