Cremonese-Fiorentina 0-2

Fiorentina scores its third consecutive victory in Cremona in Sunday’s 3 p.m. match, valid for the 26th day of Serie A. One goal per half, by Mandragora in the first and Cabral in the second, downed Cremonese.

The hosts also got off to a good start, immediately building a scoring chance with Dessers, whose header, however, did not frame the mirror. As the minutes pass, the guests begin to gain ground and in the 27th minute they find the lead: Saponara unloads a ball on the edge of the area for Mandragora who, after an exchange with Ikonè, crosses with his left behind Carnesecchi. A few minutes later the grigiorossi have a chance for an equalizer but Dessers wastes everything.

At the beginning of the second half, the Viola found the double with Madragora still the protagonist: the blue midfielder on the edge of the area asked for a one-two from Barak and arrived at the bottom delivered to Cabral a ball to be pushed only into the net. Hard blow for Cremonese, which is slow to react: only at the 80th minute the hosts have a chance to open it again but Okereke alone in front of Sirigu gets hypnotized by the Azzurri goalkeeper.

Fiorentina thus conquers the three points, rising to 11th place in the standings with 34 points, while for Cremonese it’s late night, last on 12 points, tied with Sampdoria.
