Trento beats Buducnost, Molin: “Kept our nerves in check.”
Dolomiti Energia still on course for Eurocup playoffs
Dolomiti Energia Trento puts forth a dominating performance against Buducnost Podgorica, defeated 79-76, and keeps its Eurocup playoff qualification hopes alive: now Trentino (top scorer Flaccadori with 16 points) will have to overcome Hamburg and Slask Wroclaw in the next two games to succeed in its goal.
Thus coach Lele Molin after the game: “We played an excellent first half of the match on both sides of the court, then in the second half we lost rhythm and suffered from the energy and rebounds of the Montenegrins. But then in the last quarter we were good at answering Buducnost’s baskets, and also a bit lucky: but we earned it, it was a good team reaction to the Treviso loss. In the second half ours I think was more of a mental decline than a physical one, but in the end we held our nerve.”
