F1, Max Verstappen reassures on his condition
F1, Max Verstappen will skip drivers’ press conference
On Thursday, March 16, the usual drivers’ press conference is scheduled to sanction the start of the second F1 race weekend. However, that event will not be attended by Max Verstappen, who has experienced health problems in recent days and will not arrive in Jeddah until tomorrow. The two-time world champion was keen to confirm his presence for the Gp.
“Max has been suffering from an intestinal problem in recent days. For this reason, in agreement with the FIA, he will not take part in the drivers’ press conferenceand will not be on the track today. Best wishes for a speedy recovery,” this is the official statement issued by Red Bull.
“After a few days in which I suffered from an upset stomach I now feel much better. However, I will be forced to postpone my flight by one day and will not be at the track until Friday. See you in Jeddah for free practice,” these are the words of Verstappen himself.
