Juventus, Allegri furious despite victory
Juventus, Allegri tough: “Too many mistakes made. This is not good.”
Juventus won 2-0 over Freiburg and snatched the pass for the quarterfinals of the Europa League. Post-match, Massimiliano Allegri spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport to analyze the performance of his boys, without hiding a certain disappointment.
“It was fundamental to pass the round. We had a good first half, but in the second half we made too many mistakes. We need to improve when we have a man advantage and manage the ball better. We lowered our concentration a bit and created difficulties for ourselves,” explained the HCL coach.
“There were several dangerous situations. The icing on the cake was put by Szczesny with the throw on Kean. We need to concretize the opportunities more, especially given the counterattacking quality of our attackers,” added the former Milan coach.
“I am happy that Vlahovic and Chiesa scored and I hope it helps them on a psychological level, but we have to look at the performance as a whole. We can’t make mistakes like that on choices and passing lines, so it’s not good,” concluded the Tuscan coach.
