Nicolò Virginio spoke to the official channels ahead of the challenge with Dinamo Sassari, a match valid for the 22nd day of Serie A: “We are extremely motivated for the challenge against Sassari and our mood is sky-high after last week’s success against Pesaro, a game in which from the offensive point of view we made little or no mistakes while defensively we made some small mistakes that, however, in the long run, we managed to fix. A big hand was given by Masnago: we won thanks to their support.”

“Playing in Banco di Sardegna’s house is not easy,” Virginio stressed. “To get the better of them, we will have to try to stop their best players, such as Robinson, who is decisive in the offensive phase for himself and for others, and Bendzius, a player we know well and who is capable of making the difference in this kind of games. If we can limit them, then, we have a good chance of bringing home two points that would be crucial in the playoffs. The new system? It is all a very new world compared to past years, and I realize that we are doing something different than what other teams in Italy are doing. I am growing a lot with this project, also thanks to the focused work I am doing with the technical staff, especially Coach Galbiati. I think this is the right way to try to ‘steal’ some minutes in the game.”
