Charles Leclerc does not celebrate the second half and is worried
Charles Leclerc’s words
Charles Leclerc cannot enjoy the second fastest time in qualifying, complicit in the ten-position penalty to be served on Sunday’s grid: “Happy? Yes and no. On the one hand I think it was a very difficult weekend in terms of pace for us, on the other hand I am very happy with my lap. I think I put it all together and I was really on the limit. Red Bull however is on another planet. We are struggling a little bit, but we have to keep pushing. Starting with a 10-place penalty will not be easy, but we will do our best to move up the standings.”
“The race pace seemed pretty good, although it’s hard to make comparisons with others based only on Free Practice 2 (the only ones run at night, ed.). However, it seemed a bit better than in Bahrain, although I have the feeling that we are all very close in terms of race pace,” the Monegasque’s words.
