Federica Brignone became Italian champion in the women’s super-giant in La Thuile held on the Franco Berthod-3 slope. The Carabinier Sports Center holder (at the eighth tricolor championship of her career, the second in the specialty), completed the course in a time of 1’02″03, edging out Elena Curtoni (Army Sports Center) by 25 hundredths, third place for Teresa Runggaldier (Gruppo Sciatori Fiamme Gialle) at 73 hundredths. Off the podium was Monica Zanoner (winner in the previous day’s downhill) in fourth, Giulia Albano fifth. The race also awarded the youth title (born between 2002 and 2006), which went to Ludovica Righi from Emilia (SC Edelweiss), who finished sixth, ahead of Giorgia Collomb from Aosta Valley (SC La Thuile), seventh, and Vittoria Cappellini from Veneto (SC Drusciè), eighth.

The race also counted for the Dicoflor Italian Grand Prix, reserved for athletes who are not part of national teams: in the youth category Righi preceded Collomb and Cappellini, among the aspirants (born in 2005 and 2006) Camilla Vanni (15th) preceded Alessandra Banchi (20th) and Sofia Parravicini (27th). At 12:45 p.m. the slalom heat is scheduled to award the title in the alpine combined.
